Overview
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) authorized Exam Readiness: AWS Certified Security – Specialty helps participants prepare for the corresponding AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification exam. This AWS Security credential validates the participant’s technical skills and experience in securing and hardening workloads and architectures on the AWS platform. The courses will help participants learn how to prepare and succeed in the exam. The course will also help participants explore the AWS certification exam’s topic areas and then map them to specific areas to study. As part of the course, sample exam questions in each topic area would also be reviewed, helping participants understand how to interpret the concepts being tested so they can eliminate incorrect responses.

Prerequisites
- A minimum of five years of IT security experience, designing, and implementing a security solution
- At least two years of hands-on experience securing AWS workloads and security controls for workloads on AWS

The Exam Readiness: AWS Certified Security – Specialty helps participants prepare for the AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification exam. This AWS credential validates the individual’s technical skills and expertise with an industry-recognized credential and grows your career. This AWS certification is intended for individuals who perform a security role in their organizations and who have at least two years of hands-on experience securing AWS workloads.
The AWS certification exam comprises 65 questions – either multiple-choice or multiple-response. Participants get 170 minutes to complete the exam. The exam is currently offered in English, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
